Corporate Banking Manager

About the role

The Corporate Banking Manager will lead the formulation and execution of the bank’s corporate banking strategy, driving sales growth, profitability and revenue. This senior position is responsible for shaping business plans, managing risk exposure and ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on strategic business goals and develop collaborative partnerships to enhance growth while mitigating risk.
• Communicate strategy, business plans, budgets and policies to staff in a timely manner.
• Establish an effective sales and service platform to meet performance targets.
• Implement best‑practice processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Deliver the corporate business growth plan, manage budgets and provide regular updates.
• Originate, maintain and develop relationships in the corporate market and lead ecosystem projects.
• Work with product heads to define product and sales mix and cross‑sell structured trade, treasury and payment products.
• Control costs within the agreed corporate segment budget and ensure compliance with AML, KYC and credit risk policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a postgraduate or Master’s degree in Business is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of banking experience, including at least 5 years as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager, with strong knowledge of corporate banking products and regulations.
