Cost and Management Accountant

About the role

The Cost and Management Accountant will provide strategic financial intelligence, cost control, and decision support for a growing commercial real‑estate business. The role covers land acquisition, property development, construction, and rental activities, ensuring accurate costing and profitability tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Track, allocate and monitor all costs related to land purchases, sales, developments and construction projects.
• Support project feasibility studies, investment appraisals and rental pricing models.
• Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts and scenario planning.
• Conduct monthly budget‑vs‑actual variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyse profitability by land, building, tenant and project and suggest optimisation opportunities.
• Prepare timely monthly and quarterly management reports and KPI dashboards for senior management and the Board.
• Identify and drive cost‑reduction initiatives aiming for at least 5% annual savings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CIMA is a strong advantage.
• Minimum three years (36 months) of relevant experience in cost or management accounting.
