Country Manager – Uganda

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Country Manager to lead Fasset's operations and growth in Uganda. You will be the face of Fasset in‑market, owning partnerships, regulatory relationships, community growth, and user acquisition to establish Fasset as the #1 stablecoin neobank in Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Own Fasset's P&L, growth targets, and market strategy for Uganda.
• Build and manage relationships with local partners, merchants, and financial institutions.
• Lead in‑market user acquisition, activation, and retention initiatives.
• Represent Fasset with regulators, government bodies, and industry associations in Uganda.
• Recruit, manage, and develop a local team including community ambassadors and BD staff.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and localisation recommendations to HQ.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a country/market lead role, ideally in fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Deep network and understanding of the Uganda financial, tech, or startup ecosystem.
• Track record of driving growth and managing cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in local language(s) of Uganda strongly preferred.
