Credit Analyst

About the role

The Credit Analyst will evaluate credit proposals, ensure they align with the bank’s credit policy and legal framework, and support the growth of a high‑quality credit portfolio. This role works closely with business managers to foster relationships and cross‑sell banking products.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and recommend credit prospects in line with policy, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Contribute to the expansion and quality of the credit portfolio to meet business goals.
• Process and approve credit products within defined limits and timelines.
• Collaborate with Business Managers to maximize portfolio growth and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare periodic credit reports for the Senior Credit Committee and Board Credit Committee.
• Recommend credit facilities with appropriate covenants to mitigate identified risks.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field; advanced qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are a plus.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar credit analysis role within the banking industry.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and business development capabilities.
• Proactive, decisive, and creative mindset.
