Credit Controller Trainee (Entry Level)

About the role

This entry‑level position is designed for recent graduates eager to start a career in finance. As a Credit Controller Trainee you will support the Accounts and Finance team by managing revenue collection and credit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Generate, issue and administer invoices, receipts, notices and statements on time.
• Correspond directly with credit clients to follow up on payments and negotiate outstanding amounts.
• Issue reminder notices, monitor debt collection and ensure timely recovery of overdue balances.
• Assist the Financial Controller in meeting collection forecast targets.
• Maintain accurate client documentation for all credit customers.
• Prepare regular reports on collections and reconcile direct invoices.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and the Accounts department to resolve credit‑related issues.
