Credit Specialist

About the role

Zoomlion is seeking a motivated Credit Specialist to join its Kampala team. The role involves assessing customer creditworthiness, managing credit risk, and supporting effective credit management to protect the company’s financial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Assess credit applications and determine appropriate credit limits.
• Conduct financial analysis and verify customer information.
• Monitor receivables, follow up on overdue accounts and ensure timely debt collection.
• Prepare aging reports and recommend actions for overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to resolve credit‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and procedures.
• Produce periodic credit risk and receivables reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in credit management, credit analysis, accounts receivable, banking or a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
