Curriculum Integration Consultant – Soft & Entrepreneurship Skills

About the role

The BRIDGE Project seeks a consultant to design and integrate soft‑skill and entrepreneurship modules into the curricula of 15 BTVET institutions across Uganda. Reporting to the Regional Coordinator for the Southwestern region, the consultant will work closely with project leads and local partners to ensure the training meets the project's gender‑sensitive and market‑relevant objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive training module on soft skills and entrepreneurship for BTVET students.
• Align the curriculum with the BRIDGE Project’s outcomes and the Mastercard Foundation’s Young Africa Works strategy.
• Collaborate with the BRIDGE Education and Transferable Skills Lead, MEAL Lead, and refugee‑led community organisations.
• Provide guidance to teachers and institutions on implementing the new modules.
• Monitor and report on the integration process, ensuring quality and relevance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in curriculum development for vocational or technical education.
• Familiarity with soft‑skill and entrepreneurship training methodologies.
• Experience working with NGOs, refugee contexts, or gender‑inclusive programmes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Ability to work in Uganda’s southwestern region.
