Customer Services Advisor – Hospital Front Desk

About the role

Making a great first impression is really important. That’s why we need the right person to join us and help greet our patients and visitors to the Hospital. You will provide confident and empathetic customer care to a diverse range of people.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries by telephone and internet, providing information about hospital services, procedure quotations and guiding patients through their pathway.
• Support the Hospital Bookings Teams to ensure customer requirements and queries are effectively dealt with.
• Introduce new processes to improve customer advice and service as required.
• Support the definition, development, communication and implementation of business development and marketing plans and activities.
• Provide advice and guidance to other team members and the wider hospital.
• Develop constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote the Nuffield Health brand consistently across all stakeholders, supporting national brand values and guidelines.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills, both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Flexible, motivated and able to take initiative.
• Confidence and empathy when dealing with patients and visitors.
