Decision Support Analyst - Credit & Risk

About the role

Diageo’s Finance team is looking for a Decision Support Analyst to provide insights on distributor trading, manage credit risk and ensure accurate rebate processing. The role works closely with commercial, logistics, marketing and finance teams to support Uganda Breweries Ltd’s sales and cash‑flow objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse debtor reports and reconcile distributor accounts, providing timely insights for commercial decisions.
• Manage rebates by liaising with marketing and commercial finance, uploading order files with 100 % accuracy.
• Maintain credit limits in SAP, monitor bank guarantees and ensure controls for order‑to‑cash (OTC) processes are followed.
• Coordinate with DBSC order creation, credit control and customer service teams to resolve customer issues and process free‑issue, credit and debit notes.
• Document OTC processes, maintain a complaint log and produce monthly free‑issue and cut‑off reports.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Business or related field; professional accounting qualification desirable.
• Minimum three years of post‑qualification experience in finance or credit management.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities with proven integrity.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for credit limit and master‑data management.
• Advanced Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Good IT knowledge and ability to work with accounting packages.
