Digital & Content Marketing Trainee

About the role

TechBuzz Hub is looking for a motivated Digital & Content Marketing Trainee to join its on‑site team in Kampala. You will support the creation and execution of digital marketing initiatives while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow social media accounts across platforms.
• Analyze web traffic and campaign performance using web analytics tools.
• Produce marketing content such as articles, blog posts, and social media copy.
• Conduct research, edit, and proofread content to ensure quality and relevance.
• Develop content strategies and collaborate with team members on various projects.
• Coordinate online marketing efforts and maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Background or strong interest in social media or digital marketing.
• Relevant degree in Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
• Proactive, eager to learn emerging digital trends, and able to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
