Digital Impact Manager (P-4) – Fixed‑Term

About the role

The Digital Impact Manager will lead UNICEF Uganda’s enterprise‑wide digital impact agenda, shaping strategy, governance and investment across programmes and operations. Reporting to senior leadership, the role will build strategic alliances, influence digital ecosystems and drive scalable, responsible solutions that strengthen national systems and improve outcomes for children and young people.

Key responsibilities

• Foster innovation and digital transformation by piloting, generating evidence and scaling priority Digital Impact and Innovation initiatives.
• Enhance ICT and digital transformation governance, strengthen collaboration and build internal and external partnerships and capacity.
• Ensure excellence in ICT services and systems to provide an enabling environment for organizational ICT delivery to UCO staff.
• Improve delivery results and operational effectiveness across programmes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in ICT, digital impact project management, business operations, information security or large international organisations.

Required skills

• Team leadership and project management (including Prince II and ITIL).
• Business analytics, information security, audit and risk management.
