Digital Marketing Specialist

About the role

Zenka Finance is looking for a proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to drive user acquisition and brand awareness for its fintech products in Uganda. You will own the end‑to‑end digital strategy, from organic growth to paid campaigns, and work closely with sales, design and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO, content, social media and SMS strategies that align with business goals.
• Manage and grow profiles on Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and TikTok, including scheduling, community engagement and performance tracking.
• Conduct keyword research and implement SEO and ASO tactics to increase website and app visibility.
• Create blog posts, videos, infographics and eBooks that reflect the brand voice.
• Plan, launch and optimise PPC campaigns on Google Ads and social platforms, monitoring budgets and ROI.
• Design, segment and send daily SMS marketing campaigns, measuring conversion rates.
• Analyse campaign data with Google Analytics and Tableau to refine tactics and report on KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and product alignment.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Digital Business Marketing, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 24 months of relevant digital marketing experience (mid‑level).
• Strong understanding of fintech digital operations and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
