Digital Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Digital Marketing Specialist will join Make It Happen’s Kampala office to plan, execute and optimise multi‑channel digital campaigns that boost brand awareness, engagement and conversions for client brands.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and launch digital marketing campaigns across social media, search and other online channels.
• Manage social media accounts, create and schedule content, and engage community audiences.
• Monitor campaign performance using web analytics tools and adjust tactics to improve results.
• Produce regular performance reports with actionable recommendations for clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with designers, developers and strategists to ensure cohesive, data‑driven campaigns.
• Keep up‑to‑date with the latest digital marketing trends, platforms and tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in digital and online marketing.
• Proven ability to develop and execute social media and web‑analytics strategies.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction and cross‑functional teamwork.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
