Director, Digital Business and Channels

About the role

The Director, Digital Business and Channels will lead FINCA Impact Finance’s digital product portfolio across its African network. Reporting to the COO, you will shape strategy, drive execution and ensure digital channels meet customer needs while delivering commercial value.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the digital business roadmap, covering digital lending, savings, payments, transfers and agency banking.
• Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for mobile, internet and self‑service channels.
• Lead partnerships with fintech firms, mobile network operators, payment providers and other strategic vendors.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Credit Risk, Data, Finance, Legal, Risk and Technology teams to align digital initiatives with overall business goals.
• Monitor commercial performance, risk metrics and regulatory compliance of all digital offerings.

Required profile

• Executive‑level experience (minimum 12 years) in digital banking, fintech or related financial services.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling digital financial products.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage risk in a micro‑finance environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and partnership development skills.
