Driver – Transportation & Logistics

About the role

Twyford Impex (U) Ltd, a leading ceramic tiles and sanitary ware manufacturer, is seeking a reliable driver to support daily logistics operations in Kampala and surrounding areas. The role involves transporting goods, staff, and handling various errands while ensuring safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise safely.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately.
• Transport products, materials, and personnel to designated locations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct routine checks.
• Report mechanical faults, accidents, or damages promptly.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as oil and battery checks.
• Keep detailed travel and maintenance logs.
• Handle tolls and other vehicle‑related requirements.
• Provide courteous service to clients and represent the company professionally.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• High school certificate or higher.
• Proven experience as a professional driver.
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle upkeep.
