Ecosystems and Partnerships Lead (Uganda)

About the role

The Ecosystems and Partnerships Lead will design, launch and manage Old Mutual Uganda’s Thrive wellness ecosystem. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive partner acquisition, staff and customer adoption, and position the brand as a daily‑life wellness partner.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Thrive ecosystem strategy for Uganda, identifying and onboarding partners across physical wellness, mental health, financial advisory and digital experience.
• Structure mutually beneficial partnership models, including commercial terms, co‑creation and engagement frameworks.
• Own the Thrive market implementation, coordinating cross‑functional teams (Marketing, HR, Customer Experience, Digital, Distribution) to deliver pilots, staff activation campaigns and customer roll‑outs.
• Monitor adoption, engagement and partner performance, translating insights into actionable improvements.
• Link ecosystem activity to customer acquisition, retention, brand relevance and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC and sanctions policies, conducting due‑diligence and escalating any breaches.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in partnership development, ecosystem strategy or related fields.
• Proven track record of managing multi‑stakeholder collaborations and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of wellness services and financial advisory ecosystems.
• Experience with compliance, AML and KYC processes in a regulated environment.
