Ecosystems & Partnerships Lead – Thrive Platform

About the role

Old Mutual Uganda is looking for an Ecosystems & Partnerships Lead to own, implement and scale Thrive, the company’s integrated wellness platform. The role will build a high‑impact wellness ecosystem, drive staff and customer adoption, and position the brand as a daily‑life wellness partner.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Thrive ecosystem strategy for Uganda, identifying and onboarding strategic partners across physical wellness, mental wellness, financial advisory and digital experience.
• Structure partnership models, manage commercial and co‑creation agreements, and maintain a pipeline of ecosystem partners for key customer segments.
• Act as the business owner of Thrive in Uganda, coordinating cross‑functional delivery with Marketing, HR, Customer Experience, Digital and Distribution teams.
• Lead pilots, staff activation campaigns and customer roll‑outs, monitor adoption and partner performance, and translate insights into actions.
• Drive sustained staff and customer adoption through ecosystem activations, corporate wellness engagements and community‑based programmes.
• Link ecosystem engagement to customer acquisition, retention, brand relevance and cross‑sell opportunities, providing performance reporting to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with AML, sanctions and KYC policies, conduct due‑diligence and monitor for potential breaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Innovation, Strategy, Economics or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in partnership development, ecosystem strategy or related commercial roles.
