Elementary Teacher (Grades K–4) – 2026–2027

About the role

The Main Street Academy is seeking enthusiastic educators to join its K–4 team for the 2026–2027 school year. As an elementary teacher, you will guide young learners through engaging, age‑appropriate lessons and foster a love of reading, math, and discovery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum‑aligned instruction that meets TKES standards.
• Integrate technology creatively to support student learning.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and academically rich classroom environment.
• Use performance‑based instruction and assessment techniques.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents/guardians, and school leadership.
• Support home‑school collaboration through conferences, calls, and written correspondence.
• Implement SPED, SST, 504, and IEP accommodations as required.
• Keep accurate attendance records and adhere to all county, state, and federal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university.
• Eligibility to hold a Georgia teaching certificate in the applicable field.
• Experience collaborating with teacher teams and adapting instruction.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Organizational initiative and ability to work independently.
