Engineering Manager – Mobile Applications

About the role

Epic Pro Infosys Tech is expanding its core engineering team and seeks an Engineering Manager to lead its in‑house mobile application development group. Based in Kampala, Uganda or Accra, Ghana, you will combine technical oversight, project management and people leadership to drive high‑quality mobile products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and grow a team of mobile developers through regular 1:1s, performance reviews and technical guidance.
• Partner with executive leadership and product owners to shape roadmaps, timelines and technical architecture.
• Oversee agile processes including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives to ensure reliable delivery.
• Identify technical risks, resolve operational bottlenecks and uphold strong engineering standards.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding and continuous professional development for the team.

Required profile

• 2+ years in an engineering management or lead role.
• 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience, preferably in mobile development.
• Proven track record delivering complex software projects in agile environments.
• Strong technical acumen to participate in architectural discussions and guide trade‑offs.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning and interpersonal communication skills.

What we offer

• Monthly salary: UGX 1,500,000 – UGX 3,000,000 (Kampala) or GHS 4,400 – GHS 8,850 (Accra).
