EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert (Non-Key)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a highly qualified expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on policy dialogue, institutional cooperation, and programme governance between European and African space stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate policy dialogue and coordination between EU and African Union space agencies and related institutions.
• Support the design and implementation of governance structures, steering mechanisms and programme oversight.
• Provide strategic advice on EU space policy and African space governance architecture, including the African Space Agency and Regional Economic Communities.
• Contribute to knowledge exchange, innovation promotion and private‑sector engagement within the partnership.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in international relations, public policy, law, political science, space policy or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international cooperation, public policy or institutional advisory work.
• At least 4 years of experience working on EU and/or African Union policy frameworks, inter‑institutional dialogue or programme governance.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
