About the role
Roke Telecom is seeking Field IT Engineers to provide professional onsite installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of customer IT and network infrastructure. The role focuses on reliable service delivery, timely resolution of technical faults and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Install and configure routers, switches, access points and customer‑premise equipment.
- Support LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi and VPN connectivity solutions.
- Support fibre, radio and internet connectivity services.
- Conduct customer site surveys and carry out installations, testing and handovers.
- Diagnose and resolve network, hardware and connectivity incidents within SLA timelines.
- Maintain accurate support tickets, configuration records and field service reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Network Engineering or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant IT support, networking or field engineering experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills with ability to work onsite.
- Good customer‑service and communication skills.
