Finance & Administration Officer

About the role

The Finance & Administration Officer will provide comprehensive financial and administrative support to ensure accurate, transparent, and timely financial information for Raising the Village. The role covers payroll administration, statutory compliance, financial reporting, cash management, and business partnering for regional operations.

Key responsibilities

• Payroll administration: maintain payroll records, process payroll, post transactions to the General Ledger, manage salary advances and reconcile PAYE/NSSF records.
• Statutory compliance: prepare and remit PAYE, NSSF, and Withholding Tax, reconcile balances, and support monthly tax return filings.
• Financial operations: verify payment documentation, initiate bank and mobile‑money payments, prepare weekly cash‑flow forecasts, and maintain financial records for audit.
• Business partnering & administrative support: act as finance business partner for assigned regions, assist with budgeting, monitor budgets, support bank account setup, and manage relationships with banking institutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or administration.
• Hands‑on experience with payroll processing and statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, WHT).
• Proven ability to prepare financial reports and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Strong attention to detail and a compliance‑focused mindset.
