Finance Trainee

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding in Kampala as a Finance Trainee, supporting finance processes across multiple job families such as Record to Report (RTR), Procure to Pay (PTP) and Controlling. You will develop, maintain and provide financial information, plans and projections in line with company policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Controlling and Accounting tasks according to established standards and guidelines.
• Explain finance facts, processes and practices to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve finance issues, produce and validate data and numbers.
• Improve the quality of internal and external financial data.
• Respond to finance enquiries and provide accurate information.
• Administer finance processes and policies for multiple finance job families under supervision.
• Gather data, conduct financial analysis and prepare summary reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (second upper class or comparable).
• Fresh graduate – no prior professional experience required.
• Individual contributor with no direct leadership responsibilities.
