Financial Advisor – Client Solutions

About the role

ICEA LION Uganda is seeking a full‑time Financial Advisor to work directly with clients, understand their financial objectives, and design personalized plans that cover insurance, pensions, and investment solutions. The role combines client interaction, portfolio monitoring, and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess financial goals and current situations.
• Develop tailored financial plans and recommendations.
• Educate clients on insurance, pension, and investment options.
• Prepare proposals and support implementation of agreed strategies.
• Monitor client portfolios, conduct regular reviews, and stay updated on market and product developments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high‑quality client service and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial planning, advisory, and retirement planning.
• Academic qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business or related fields; professional certifications (CFP, CFA, or local equivalents) are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication abilities.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, and familiarity with Ugandan regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with basic financial planning tools.
