Food Safety Support

About the role

The Food Safety Support professional ensures that all food operations at the hotel comply with hygiene and safety standards. This role combines supervision, training, risk assessment, and technical advice to protect guests, staff, and the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily food operations to meet hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Provide food‑handling training for new hires and ongoing trainees.
• Identify risk areas in food processes and implement preventive corrective actions.
• Advise on product labeling to satisfy government requirements.
• Assist management with hiring, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating staff.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager.
• Maintain personal and uniform appearance standards and protect confidential information.
• Address guest service needs and communicate professionally with all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant food safety or hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
