Full-time Housekeeper (Every Other Weekend)

About the role

The Housekeeper will maintain cleanliness and order in common areas, bathrooms, and laundry facilities for a senior living community. This full‑time position includes working every other weekend and reports to the Director of Environmental Services/Maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Empty trash, dust, vacuum, mop floors and polish furniture in all common areas.
• Clean and deodorize bathrooms, restock toilet paper and paper towels.
• Maintain office equipment and social spaces such as hallways, break rooms and conference rooms.
• Process, wash, dry, fold and distribute linens; keep laundry equipment clean and stocked.
• Deliver clean linens to resident wings and ensure laundry areas remain orderly.
• Assist with preventative maintenance of common areas and grounds, and support move‑in/move‑out cleaning schedules.
• Respond promptly to safety or cleanliness concerns raised by staff or residents.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent.
• Some experience preferred, up to one year in housekeeping or similar environment.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Physical capability to perform lifting, standing, walking and stooping as required.
• Works under general supervision and follows all safety, OSHA and organizational policies.
