Fundraiser Volunteer (Full-time, On-site)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Fundraiser Volunteer to join our team in Kampala. This full‑time, on‑site position will support the planning and execution of fundraising activities that sustain our community programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in organising fundraising events and outreach campaigns.
• Draft fundraising materials and help prepare grant applications.
• Maintain and update donor records and manage communication with supporters.
• Coordinate communication across email, social media and other channels.
• Work with program and finance teams to identify funding needs and prepare progress reports.
• Contribute ideas to improve outreach strategies and ensure alignment with our mission.

Required profile

• Demonstrated interest in fundraising, nonprofit work or community development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organisational and administrative abilities, including schedule and record management.
• Team‑player attitude, initiative and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
• High integrity, reliability and commitment to inclusion and non‑discrimination.
• Local knowledge of Kampala and surrounding areas is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software (email, spreadsheets, word processing).
• Experience using social media platforms for outreach.
