Fundraiser Volunteer (Full‑time, On‑site)

About the role

Join Spectrum Uganda Initiatives as a Fundraiser Volunteer and help drive the organization’s fundraising initiatives. This full‑time, on‑site position in Kampala supports event planning, donor outreach, and grant preparation to sustain community programs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in organizing fundraising events and campaigns.
• Research and contact potential donors, maintaining strong relationships.
• Draft fundraising materials, proposals, and grant applications.
• Update and manage donor records and databases.
• Coordinate communication campaigns across email, social media, and other channels.
• Collaborate with program and finance teams to align fundraising goals with organizational needs.
• Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress and outcomes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated interest in fundraising, nonprofit work, or community development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic organizational and administrative abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and adaptability.
• High integrity, reliability, and commitment to inclusive values.
