About the role
We are looking for a motivated Hardware Repair Engineer to join our team in Kamwokya, Kampala. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic devices, ensuring minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and analyse equipment malfunctions and perform root‑cause diagnosis.
- Repair or replace components such as power boards, screens, batteries, and sensors.
- Coordinate with the support department to escalate and resolve reported defects.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and actions taken.
Required profile
- At least 12 months of hands‑on experience repairing electronic devices, primarily mobiles or laptops.
- Ability to understand both hardware and software issues.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and careful handling of devices.
- Effective communication with team members and customers.
Required skills
- Proficiency with a multimeter for electrical testing.
- Experience using a soldering iron for component replacement.
What we offer
- Competitive salary ranging from UGX 500,000 to UGX 1,000,000 per month.
