Hardware Sales Specialist – Bonded Zone (Eastern Provinces)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Hardware Sales Specialist to manage and grow our client base in the eastern provinces of Uganda. The role focuses on maintaining existing relationships, acquiring new customers, and driving sales of fasteners, tools and related hardware products.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients in the eastern provinces, ensuring timely order follow‑up and solution delivery.
• Identify and acquire new customers in the local market to increase market share of hardware products.
• Conduct market research, gather competitor intelligence and propose new product categories tailored to regional needs.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets by creating and executing effective sales plans.
• Collaborate with the technical team to provide customers with product selection advice and technical specifications.
• Collect market trends and feedback to continuously improve sales strategies.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and able to communicate in Swahili or French for clients in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
• College degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, materials, international trade or related fields.
• 2‑3 years of sales experience in the hardware industry, familiar with fasteners and tools.
• Strong negotiation and customer‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel on short‑term business trips and work under pressure to meet targets.
