Hardware Sales Specialist – Bonded Zone

About the role

The Hardware Sales Specialist will manage existing client relationships and expand market share for hardware products within the eastern provinces. The role involves close collaboration with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions and meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, regularly following up on order requirements.
• Identify and acquire new customers in the local market to increase hardware product penetration.
• Conduct market research in the eastern provinces and develop new product categories.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets by creating and executing sales plans.
• Work with the technical team to provide professional product selection and technical parameter support.
• Gather market trends and competitor information to refine sales strategies.

Required profile

• Fluent in Swahili or French to communicate with clients in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
• Business experience, preferably with relevant hardware products, and a track record in customer development and maintenance.
• Willingness to build a long‑term career with the company.
• College degree or higher, preferably in mechanical engineering, materials, international trade, or related fields.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in the hardware industry, familiar with fasteners and tools.
• Strong negotiation and customer management abilities.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Ability to travel on short‑term business trips, with high stress resistance and goal‑driven motivation.
