Human Resource Trainee (Full‑time)

About the role

Techbuzz Hub is seeking a motivated Human Resource Trainee to join its team in Kampala starting October 1, 2026. This full‑time, on‑site position is part of the Graduate Professionals Apprenticeship Program (GPAP) and offers hands‑on experience in HR management within an innovative, startup‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day HR administration, including maintaining employee records.
• Support recruitment activities such as posting job ads, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
• Help conduct new‑employee orientations and onboarding sessions.
• Participate in the implementation and communication of HR policies.
• Administer employee benefits and respond to related inquiries.
• Contribute to employee‑relations initiatives and resolve routine queries.
• Provide support for HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a course in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Mid‑level experience (approximately 2 years) or relevant internship exposure.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in enterprise development, technology innovation, and startup culture.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HR management principles and policies.
• Understanding of recruitment processes and employee‑relations basics.
• Familiarity with employee benefits administration.
