Human Resources Trainee (Full‑time, Kampala)

About the role

TechBuzz Hub is looking for a motivated Human Resources Trainee to join its Graduate Professionals Apprenticeship Program (GPAP) in Kampala. Starting on September 1, 2026, you will work on‑site, supporting the HR team while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing innovation hub.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
• Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
• Conduct new‑employee orientations and support onboarding processes.
• Help implement HR policies and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Administer employee benefits and handle related inquiries.
• Support employee relations initiatives and address routine HR queries.
• Contribute to HR projects, training sessions, and mentorship activities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a course in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Strong interest in enterprise development, technology innovation, and startup environments.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of HR management, HR policies, and employee benefits.
• Understanding of recruitment processes and employee relations.
