Infrastructure Support Specialist

About the role

The Infrastructure Support Specialist ensures the smooth operation of desktop, print, ATM, and voice services across the organization. This role provides second‑line technical support, monitors system performance, and contributes to project delivery and migration activities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, configure and troubleshoot desktop operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Manage Microsoft Exchange, PGP, file/print services, Flexcube, Symantec Antivirus and related server resources.
• Support peripheral devices including phones, printers, scanners, faxes, Card and PIN systems.
• Monitor resource utilization, perform preventive and corrective actions, and ensure up‑to‑date antivirus protection.
• Maintain high ATM availability, follow change‑management procedures, and provide functional expertise for complex hardware issues.
• Implement information‑security guidelines, participate in UAT/OAT, and support various IT projects.
• Oversee migration activities, supervise end‑user hardware maintenance, and ensure proper testing of changes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in desktop and ATM support within a corporate or banking environment.
• Strong understanding of change‑management and information‑security practices.
• Ability to analyse incidents, propose improvements and work collaboratively with project teams.
