About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Latin Teacher for grades 9‑12 for the 2026‑27 academic year. The teacher will deliver curriculum‑aligned instruction, support student growth, and contribute to a positive school community.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet district curriculum standards and accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress through formal and informal testing and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEP students.
- Supervise teacher aides and volunteers, and oversee extracurricular activities as assigned.
- Maintain classroom environment, manage student behavior, and ensure safety of students and materials.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements for Latin.
- Knowledge of curriculum, instructional strategies, and student assessment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
