Lead Security Engineer

About the role

Lucid is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to shape the security posture of its luxury electric vehicle platforms. You will act as the primary security authority across network, application, operating system, endpoint, and mobile domains, partnering closely with software and data engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise‑scale security architectures for LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers and related devices.
• Develop and enforce access‑control policies and security controls across all systems.
• Lead Security Operations & Incident Response activities, including real‑time threat handling and post‑incident analysis.
• Conduct technical security assessments, code audits, and design reviews for new services.
• Provide security guidance and advisory support to business units and internal IT resources.
• Drive cyber‑risk mitigation during planning and implementation of new features.
• Deliver training and knowledge‑transfer sessions for internal staff and partners.
• Participate in offensive security exercises and continuous improvement of the InfoSec risk model.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior security engineer or equivalent, preferably in a fast‑paced technology environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to learn quickly and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to act as a trusted advisor across technical and business teams.
