Lecturer – Highway & Transportation Engineering

About the role

The University seeks a full‑time Lecturer to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Highway and Transportation Engineering. The role combines teaching, research, and community engagement within a faith‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and supervise undergraduate and graduate students in assigned engineering subjects.
• Conduct research, publish findings and secure external research funding.
• Develop and update curricula, course syllabi and learning materials for civil and transportation engineering programmes.
• Participate in departmental seminars, examinations, and provide pastoral care in line with university policies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Highway Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum two years of university teaching experience as Assistant Lecturer or three years as Tutorial Assistant.
• At least one scholarly publication or research project and a proven record of meeting strict deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a committed Christian faith.
