Lecturer Positions – Water Resources & Engineering Faculty

About the role

Busitema University, a multi‑campus public university in Eastern Uganda, is inviting applications for academic positions within its Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Candidates will join a dynamic teaching environment focused on water resources and civil engineering disciplines. Applications must be submitted in three signed copies together with a detailed CV, academic certificates, transcripts, appointment letters (if applicable), three passport‑size photographs, and the names of three referees. Required profile

• Evidence of full admission for a PhD in the relevant specialization (advantageous).
• Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• First Class or Second Class Upper Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum three years of university teaching experience or equivalent professional experience in a reputable organization or industry.
• Demonstrated contribution to community activities.
• Age must not exceed 50 years at the application deadline.
