Loans Officer

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Loans Officer to join our team in Kampala. In this field‑based position you will acquire new borrowers, evaluate loan applications and help expand our portfolio of car logbook financing and land mortgage products across Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily outdoor field marketing to recruit individual borrowers and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Collect authentic Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation, collateral records and bank statements from prospective clients.
• Provide basic financial‑literacy education to ensure sustainable loan usage.
• Upload field data and submit loan applications using smart devices.

Required profile

• Minimum Uganda Certificate of Education; a diploma or degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce or related field is an advantage.
• Experience in sales or marketing is beneficial.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Basic digital literacy for data entry on smart devices.
• High integrity, performance‑driven mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines.
