Manager – Partnerships

About the role

eTranzact Platform Limited is seeking a Manager – Partnerships to lead the development of strategic alliances that expand its digital financial services ecosystem across Uganda. The role will shape partnership strategy, drive growth, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's partnership strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that generate new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, fintechs, telecom operators, regulators, and other ecosystem partners.
• Lead the partnerships team and drive sales pipeline growth through strategic collaborations.
• Monitor partnership performance, prepare reports, and optimise initiatives using data‑driven insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and scaling of partnership initiatives.
• Support partner sales teams through training and strategic guidance to maximise business impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in business development, strategic partnerships or sales within fintech, banking, payments or telecommunications, including 4 years in a leadership role.
• Proven success in building and managing high‑impact strategic partnerships.
• Strong understanding of Uganda's financial services ecosystem and regulatory environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in the fintech or digital payments industry is highly preferred.
