Marketing Officer

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Officer to join Axel Uganda Limited in Kampala. The role will drive the development and execution of marketing strategies that support our business objectives and enhance brand visibility across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with business goals.
• Create and launch marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email and print channels.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Identify target audiences and craft tailored marketing strategies.
• Produce engaging content for websites, blogs, social media and advertising materials.
• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
• Measure, analyse and report on campaign performance to optimise ROI.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure marketing alignment with overall objectives.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies and partners.
• Plan and coordinate marketing events, trade shows and sponsorships.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 12 months of relevant marketing experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
