About the role
The MEL & Evidence‑Pack Lead will design, implement and manage performance monitoring, verification readiness, learning, reporting and evidence‑pack systems for the Data‑Activated Architecture for Resilient Transition (DART) project supporting Uganda's Ministry of Health. Based in Kampala, the role ensures that every project result is backed by reliable, auditable evidence aligned with the workplan, donor requirements and Ministry reporting needs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the project’s monitoring, evaluation and learning framework.
- Design and oversee evidence‑pack processes to capture complete, verifiable data for all results.
- Coordinate reporting to donors, the Ministry of Health and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, auditability and compliance with project milestones.
- Support verification readiness and facilitate learning activities across the project.
- Travel nationally and regionally as required to support implementation sites.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading MEL functions in large‑scale health or development projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work with government ministries and international donors.
- Current work authorization for Uganda.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data integrity and evidence‑based reporting.
