Operations Manager

About the role

Impartial World, a licensed Ugandan ICT service provider operating a mobile app and website escrow platform, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily business activities, ensure efficiency and productivity across departments. The role involves coordinating resources, implementing policies, and optimizing processes to support the company's growth. You will act as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, manage events and partnerships, and maintain the company’s public image through media and social channels. The position requires a proactive leader with a strong background in ICT, marketing, or business administration, and experience in startup environments. Reporting to senior management, you will prepare revenue and expenditure reports, monitor quality control, and ensure user profiles meet company standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling regular performance reports and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures that public relations and media engagement is maintained.
• Manages all Impartial World social media pages.
• Coordinates all Impartial World events.
• Seeks partnerships with esteemed organizations.
• Manages the Impartial World database.
• Ensures quality control by requiring all users to set up correct profiles and accounts.
• Manages the day‑to‑day activities of Impartial World.
• Develops revenue and expenditure reports and budgets.
• Coordinates external and internal stakeholders of Impartial World.
• Compiles weekly and monthly reports.
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned.

Required profile

• Holder of a degree in ICT, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with startups, especially in the ICT sector.
• Previous experience in marketing and sales.
• Team leadership with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Self‑starter, go‑getter with strong innovation skills.
