About the role
The Main Street Academy is looking for enthusiastic part-time staff to support its after‑school program. You will work Monday‑Thursday providing homework help and Friday enrichment activities for students in grades K‑8.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise students throughout program hours, ensuring safety and adherence to policies.
- Organize students into homework and activity groups each day.
- Assist with homework completion, check assignments, and circulate among students.
- Plan, research, and lead enrichment activities; escort students to activity locations, restrooms, and pick‑up areas.
- Record daily attendance and maintain accurate reports (daily, weekly, quarterly).
- Distribute snacks and complete snack reports.
- Maintain a clean work environment and manage supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Support the Program Director with various program tasks.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work with children in grades K‑8.
- Experience in an after‑school, summer‑camp, or tutoring setting is preferred.
