About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to serve as school crossing guards. The role involves escorting students safely across streets at designated times, working outdoors, and providing a visible safety presence for the school community.
Key responsibilities
- Escort students safely to and from school during morning and afternoon periods.
- Work two hours each day (one hour in the morning, one hour in the afternoon), five days a week.
- Permanent guards stay at one location; substitute guards cover various schools as needed.
Required profile
- Upbeat personality and enjoyment of interacting with children.
- Comfortable working outdoors and following safety procedures.
- Available for the specified two‑hour daily schedule.
- Willingness to work on school days and be off on holidays and professional‑development days.
