Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Reporting to the School Director, you will lead classroom operations, deliver curriculum, and support each child’s physical, social, emotional, and academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels respected.
• Build positive relationships with children and families through daily greetings and ongoing communication.
• Plan, deliver, and document curriculum aligned with Cadence Education’s philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Follow all licensing, safety, and Cadence Education policies, including accurate incident reporting.
• Support children with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans as needed.
• Utilize Cadence-required systems for communication with families, staff, and leadership.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a well‑supervised classroom.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families and team members.
• Commitment to professional development and participation in trainings.
