Product Manager - AI (Ubuntu Pro Services)

About the role

Canonical is looking for a Product Manager to lead the AI-driven Ubuntu Pro Services portfolio. This remote position serves the EMEA region and requires a strong understanding of open‑source ecosystems and cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product development lifecycle, setting priorities and goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to align on product strategy.
• Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities.
• Communicate product vision, status updates, and key decisions to stakeholders.
• Run usability testing, analyse feedback, and iterate to improve user experience.
• Develop go‑to‑market strategies, create product documentation, and provide training.
• Support the sales team in winning new opportunities and participate in customer meetings.
• Facilitate collaboration across teams, resolve conflicts, and ensure consistent execution.

Required profile

• Exceptional academic results at high school and university.
• Understanding of Linux, open‑source software, and computer architecture.
• Knowledge of application development, datacenters, cloud or devices.
• Passion for writing about technology and the tech landscape.
• Strong work ethic, curiosity, and habit of continuous learning.
• Outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
