Product Manager, Private Markets

About the role

The Private Markets group within S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Product Manager to own the roadmap for a defined area of private markets products. This role will shape product vision, prioritize features, and collaborate across functions to deliver data‑driven solutions for investment managers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product roadmap for a private markets product area, creating a 6‑12 month vision based on client data and market trends.
• Prioritize features using a data‑driven approach, balancing business priorities and stakeholder input.
• Define and review user stories and requirements within the software development life cycle, ensuring thorough testing before release.
• Coach and lead an agile scrum team, fostering continuous improvement and high‑quality delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Testing, UX, Marketing, Implementation, and Sales to maximize business impact.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of private markets and investment data needs.
• Ability to translate client requirements into actionable product roadmaps.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in an agile environment.
• Data‑driven decision‑making mindset.

• Base salary range: $70,817 – $149,719 per year (dependent on location, experience, and qualifications).
