Product Specialist (Life Sciences Equipment)

About the role

Esco is seeking a Product Specialist to promote its portfolio of laboratory equipment, bioprocessing tools and IVF medical devices. The role combines sales activities with technical product expertise to support existing customers and attract new accounts across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct sales calls and meetings with existing and prospective customers.
• Present product features, applications and benefits, and provide technical information.
• Support sales through product training, preparation of quotations, tender documentation and joint customer visits.
• Implement sales and market‑growth strategies aligned with the company’s business plan.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance, forecasts and pipeline in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports.
• Assist with new product launches and promotional activities such as exhibitions, webinars, email campaigns, seminars and product training.
• Review, translate and localise marketing materials when required.
• Conduct regular in‑person and online product seminars and presentations.
• Gather customer feedback, market intelligence and competitor insights.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Medical Sciences or a related discipline.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in sales, laboratory environments or technical product support is an advantage.
• Strong presentation, communication and customer‑service skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
