Production Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead daily operations on the food manufacturing floor, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role reports to senior management and works closely with the planning and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to achieve output goals.
• Plan and allocate manpower to maximise productivity.
• Monitor product quality and enforce food safety and hygiene standards.
• Control raw material usage and minimise waste.
• Oversee routine maintenance and proper operation of equipment.
• Implement 5S and workplace safety practices.
• Train, motivate and supervise production staff.
• Prepare daily production reports and communicate performance to management.
• Identify production issues and apply corrective actions promptly.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Industrial Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably bakery, bread, instant noodles or FMCG production.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of production planning, quality control and food safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict production deadlines.
